# Kuvo > Kuvo makes small, native Mac apps for developers: Kuvo Code for coding agents and AI bots, and Kuvo Box for Docker. Both are free for personal use, with their source on GitHub. ## Kuvo Code Kuvo Code is a native Mac app for coding agents and AI bots, on any model. Bots keep one job, remember what they learn, wake themselves up and talk it through in group chats. - **Bots.** A bot is an AI agent with a name, a look and one job, like keeping a project's build green, sending a morning standup, watching a page for changes or reviewing changes before they ship. You give it its job by telling it, in its own conversation. It keeps what it learns in a memory, schedules its own wake-ups (every morning, every hour, on weekdays), and can set a watch that wakes it only when something changes. It runs on your Mac, or on one of your Linux servers over SSH, where it keeps working while your Mac is off. - **Group chats.** Put a few bots in a group chat and they talk things through: the lead sums up who does what, and each bot does its part in its own conversation and reports back. A group chat can also meet on a schedule, like a standup every weekday at 9. - **Ready-made bots.** Keeper (keeps the build green), Tally (sends a morning standup), Sage (researches questions and writes them up), Lookout (tells you when a page changes), Lens (reviews changes before they ship), Herald (sends you a morning news digest), Compass (plans your day each morning), Courier (keeps your inbox under control), Echo (keeps up with your mentions). - **Any model.** Sign in with a GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or SuperGrok subscription (not a Claude subscription: Anthropic's models take an API key), add an API key for any provider opencode supports, or use free models with no account. Kuvo Code runs the official opencode engine, unmodified. - **Sessions.** Review the agent's changes like a pull request, with the project's files, a terminal and a browser the agent can use in a side panel. - **Requirements.** macOS 26 or later, Apple silicon. Free for personal and other noncommercial use, with its source on GitHub (PolyForm Noncommercial license); commercial use, like at work, needs a paid license. - [Kuvo Code](https://www.kuvo.run/code/): the app's page - [Download Kuvo Code](https://github.com/serhatandic/kuvo-code/releases/latest/download/KuvoCode.dmg) - [Source and releases](https://github.com/serhatandic/kuvo-code) ### Kuvo Code docs - [Getting started](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/index.md): Install Kuvo Code, connect a model, and start your first session with a coding agent. - [Installation](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/installation.md): Install Kuvo Code, what happens on first launch, updates, and building from source. - [Accounts](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/accounts.md): Connect model providers with a subscription or an API key, or start with free models. - [Sessions](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/sessions.md): Open projects, start sessions, talk to the agent, and answer what it asks. - [Reviewing changes](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/changes.md): See what changed in the project like a pull request, and comment on lines for the agent. - [The side panel](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/panel.md): Keep the project's changes, files, terminals and a web browser next to the conversation, as tabs. - [Browsing for the agent](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/browsing.md): How the agent uses the panel's browser with any model, while you watch. - [Remote machines](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/machines.md): Run sessions on a Linux server you reach with SSH, next to your Mac's projects. - [Bots](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/bots.md): Teammates with one job each, on your Mac or your machines, that remember what they learn, wake themselves up to carry on, and talk things through together in group chats. - [Integrations](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/integrations.md): Your mail, calendar, chats, socials and code tools, for the agent and your bots. - [Customizing the agent](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/customize.md): Agents, permissions, MCP servers, skills and commands, set up in Settings. - [Settings](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/settings.md): Find your way around Settings, and set how Kuvo Code looks, notifies you and uses your disk. - [Usage in the menu bar](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/usage.md): Plan limits and spend for your AI tools, in Kuvo Code's menu bar item. - [Keyboard shortcuts](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/shortcuts.md): The keyboard shortcuts in Kuvo Code. - [How it works](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/architecture.md): What runs on your Mac when you use Kuvo Code, and how the pieces fit. - [Privacy and data](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/privacy.md): What Kuvo Code keeps on your Mac, what it connects to, and what the agent sends to model providers. - [Troubleshooting](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/troubleshooting.md): What to do when the engine won't start, a sign-in doesn't finish, or something else goes wrong. - [Uninstall](https://www.kuvo.run/code/docs/uninstall.md): Remove Kuvo Code and everything it keeps on your Mac. ## Kuvo Box Kuvo Box runs the real Docker engine in a lightweight Linux VM, with a native Mac app to see what it's doing. The docker command, Compose and your scripts work unchanged. macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon. - [Kuvo Box](https://www.kuvo.run/box/): the app's page - [Download Kuvo Box](https://github.com/serhatandic/kuvo-box/releases/latest/download/Kuvo.dmg) - [Source and releases](https://github.com/serhatandic/kuvo-box) ### Kuvo Box docs - [Getting started](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/index.md): Install Kuvo Box, point the docker command at it, and run your first container. - [Installation](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/installation.md): Download Kuvo Box or build it from source, and get the kuvo and docker commands on your PATH. - [Docker and Compose](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/docker.md): Connect the docker command to Kuvo Box, publish ports, mount folders and run Intel images. - [The app](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/app.md): Find your way around Kuvo Box's window, menu bar and settings. - [CLI reference](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/cli.md): Every kuvo command, its options and what it prints. - [Coding agents](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/agents.md): Give Claude Code and other agents a container to work in, instead of your Mac. - [How it works](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/architecture.md): What Kuvo Box runs on your Mac, and how the docker command reaches the engine inside the VM. - [Performance](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/performance.md): How much CPU, memory and disk Kuvo Box uses, how it compares with Docker Desktop, and how we measured. - [Troubleshooting](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/troubleshooting.md): Fix connection problems, read Kuvo Box's logs, and start over when you need to. - [Uninstall](https://www.kuvo.run/box/docs/uninstall.md): Remove Kuvo Box, its VM and everything it added to your Mac. ## Optional - [Every docs page in one file](https://www.kuvo.run/llms-full.txt)
