# Uninstall

Remove Kuvo Code and everything it keeps on your Mac.

Quit Kuvo Code from its menu bar item (closing the window isn't enough), then delete the app and its data:

```sh
rm -rf "/Applications/Kuvo Code.app"
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/run.kuvo.code
rm -rf ~/Library/Logs/Kuvo\ Code
rm -rf ~/Library/WebKit/run.kuvo.code ~/Library/Caches/run.kuvo.code ~/Library/HTTPStorages/run.kuvo.code
defaults delete run.kuvo.code
```

This **deletes your sessions and connected accounts** in Kuvo Code, and sessions' worktrees with anything in them that isn't committed. Your projects, their branches and your own opencode aren't touched; run `git worktree prune` in a project to have git forget the removed worktrees.

On a [remote machine](/code/docs/machines/) you added, run `rm -rf ~/.kuvo-code` there to remove Kuvo Code's engine and the sessions on it.

If you pasted API keys into the usage item, remove them in **Keychain Access**: search for `run.kuvo.code`. Passwords saved in the panel's browser are there too, as `Kuvo Code browser password`; delete them in **Settings › Passwords** first, or in Keychain Access.
